FAQ's... EARLY CHECK-IN OPTIONS We are at the mercy of the calendar! The only way to guarantee early check-in is by booking the night before. If you want to take a gamble, you can wait until 24 hours before check-in to see if our schedule allows for it. If a guest is checking out the day of your arrival or if we have scheduled maintenance, early check-in will not be available. LATE CHECKOUT Not Likely. Just as we did for your arrival, we must prepare again for the next guest. If your flight leaves late in the day, consider booking an additional night, so you can leave at your leisure. LUGGAGE DROP OFF Our team needs this time to prepare the home uninterrupted. Upon booking, we can offer recommendations of where to leave your luggage while you wait. Can I book on behalf of a friend, family member, or co-worker? No. Third party bookings are prohibited. Please have the person who is staying book themselves. Is the home suitable for children? Our home is great fun for children over the age of 5. We have steep stairs and a deck without a railing. While it's not very high, it is not super low either. This home is not a great option for children who are not sure footed or mobile infants. We do offer a pack n play for non-mobile infants. Can we go in the pond? No, the pond water is not circulated. Swimming or wading in the pond is not allowed. Can we take a boat out on the pond? No, boats are not allowed by the association. Can we fish in the pond? YES! It is catch and release only. The pond is stocked with carp and bass. Is the pond private? No. It belongs to the community. You can walk the path around the pond, so don't be surprised to see people on a stroll or chilling on the bench in front of our home fishing at times. Can we feed the ducks and geese? YES! We provide a small amount of floating duck food. We ask that you not feed them bread as it is bad for their digestive system. Are the birds loud? The geese leave in the morning and return in the evening. They can be talkative at night, so we offer a sound machine and ear plugs for your use should you need them.
